Size Guide

Created for You. Made to Fit You.

Every Blondeer piece is individually created according to your chosen design and specifications. The right fit is therefore an important part of creating a piece that feels as beautiful to wear as it looks.

We recommend taking your measurements carefully before submitting or approving your design. If you are uncertain about your size, please contact us before confirming your specifications. We will be happy to guide you. Because your piece may be made specifically to your individual measurements and specifications, please take particular care when selecting your size.

Rings

Finding Your Ring Size

For the most accurate result, we recommend having your finger professionally measured by a jeweller. If this is not possible, you can determine your size at home using a ring that already fits you well or by measuring your finger directly.

Blondeer uses European ring sizing, which corresponds to the inner circumference of the ring in millimetres.

For example:

54 mm inner circumference = EU size 54

Method 1 — Measure a Ring You Already Own

Choose a ring that fits comfortably on the same finger and hand on which you intend to wear your Blondeer ring.

Place the ring on a flat surface and measure straight across the inside of the ring, from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge at its widest point.

Do not include the metal itself in your measurement.

This gives you the ring's inside diameter.

Getting the Most Accurate Measurement

For the most accurate result, choose a ring that fits comfortably on the same finger and hand on which your Blondeer ring will be worn. As finger size can vary slightly throughout the day and with temperature, make sure the ring you use fits comfortably under normal conditions and is not unusually tight or loose due to your hands being particularly warm or cold.

Measure the inside diameter carefully at the ring’s widest point, from one inner edge directly across to the other, without including the metal itself. We recommend taking the measurement more than once to ensure accuracy. The width of the ring should also be considered, as a wider band can feel tighter than a finer design of the same size.

If you are between sizes or uncertain about the appropriate fit, please contact us before approving your design.

For engagement rings, wedding bands and other important commissions, we strongly recommend having your finger professionally measured by a local jeweller.

Bracelets

Finding Your Bracelet Size

To determine your bracelet size, measure the wrist on which you intend to wear your Blondeer bracelet.

Use a flexible measuring tape and wrap it around your wrist at the point where you would naturally wear the bracelet. The measuring tape should rest comfortably against your skin without being pulled too tightly.

If you do not have a flexible measuring tape, use a non-stretch ribbon or strip of paper. Wrap it around your wrist, mark the point where the ends meet, then lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler.

Record your wrist circumference in centimetres or millimetres and provide this measurement when submitting your design. We will take the construction, proportions and design of your individual bracelet into consideration when determining the appropriate finished size.

For rigid bracelets and bangles, additional measurements may be required depending on the design. If this applies to your piece, we will guide you through the measurements needed before your final specifications are approved.

If you are uncertain about your measurement, please contact us before approving your design.

Necklaces

Choosing Your Necklace Length

The length of a necklace determines where it sits on the body and can significantly change the appearance and proportions of the finished piece.

Blondeer necklace lengths refer to the approximate wearable length of the chain unless otherwise specified. The dimensions of a pendant or other design element may create an additional drop.

These positions are approximate.

The same necklace length can sit differently from person to person depending on neck circumference, height, body proportions, clothing and the dimensions and weight of the pendant.

Method 1 — Measure a Necklace You Already Own

If you already own a necklace that sits exactly where you would like your Blondeer piece to sit, this is one of the easiest ways to determine your preferred length.

Lay the necklace flat and straight.

Measure it from end to end, including the clasp where appropriate.

Record the total length in centimetres.

Method 2 — Find Your Preferred Length

Take a piece of string, ribbon or flexible measuring tape and place it around your neck.

Adjust it until it sits exactly where you would like your necklace to fall.

Mark the point where the ends meet, lay it flat and measure the total length.

If your design includes a pendant, also consider where you would like the pendant itself to sit.

Before Approving Your Size

Measure Carefully. We Create Accordingly.

Your measurements are an integral part of your custom design. Once approved, they may be used to create your piece specifically for you.

Before approving your final specifications, we recommend that you:

Measure More Than Once

Take each measurement at least twice. If the results differ, measure again before submitting your size.

Measure the Correct Finger, Wrist or Position

The left and right sides of the body can differ slightly. Always measure the exact finger or wrist on which you intend to wear your piece.

Consider Your Preferred Fit

Sizing is not only about measurements. Consider how you would like the finished piece to feel and sit when worn.

Ask Us When You Are Unsure

If you are between sizes, unsure about your measurement, or uncertain how a particular design should fit, please contact us before approving your specifications.
